Yellow Springs Schools closed because of snow

The Yellow Springs School Board decided this morning to close Village schools because of additional snowfall.

The Yellow Springs Community Children’s Center is open, as is Antioch School.

The National Weather Service reports snow before 10 a.m., and chance of some flurries before ending. Skies will be cloudy, changing to mostly sunny, with a high near 24. The total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 9. Wind chill values as low as -3. West wind 9 to 14 mph.

Temperatures are expected to drop this evening, with lows around 9 and wind chill values  as low as –3.
