Karen L. Adams passed away Thursday, Aug. 13, in Yellow Springs. She was 58.

Karen was born April 10, 1957, in Springfield, the daughter of the late Bob and Jeanne (Campbell) Adams. Karen is survived by her brother, Rob Adams (Phyllis); sister Marsha Hickman (Tony); nieces and nephews Ryan Hoover (Lillian), Andrea Malavich (Brian), Lauren Mikesell (Todd), Charlie Wheatcraft (Chris), Eric Hickman (Dawn) and Shilo McDaniel (Doug); seven great-nieces and nephews; and special friends Heidi Viemeister, Stephie Kaelin, Joan Meadows and Anna Hogarty.

Karen worked at Antioch College for many years and loved her cats, Sophie, Ellie, Abby and Quincey.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Sunday, Aug. 23, at 4 p.m. at the Grinnell Mill, located at 3536 Bryan Park Rd. in Yellow Springs. Memorial contributions in Karen’s name may be made to Community Mercy Hospice, 444 W. Harding Rd., Springfield, Ohio 45504.
