Upcycled bicycles

At a West Davis Street residence, local builder Bruce Parker came up with a clever way to use abandoned bicycle frames in an artistic porch remodeling. Colored to match the maple leaves falling from above, the new railings might make for a slightly safer Trick-or-Treat event in the village tonight.
Parker, who also maintains a garden patch of metallic daisies pushing up from corrugated drain pipe on West Davis, owns Azur Creations, a wood and salvage art, furniture and sculpture business. He grew up in Yellow Springs and currently resides in Cedarville.
