Kieth’s Alley got a much-needed resurfacing this week during the village’s annual paving of local streets. Here, a “cold asphalt planer,” operated by John Morris of Jurgensen Construction, stripped away the top layer of asphalt to prepare the surface for new blacktop. The machines were at once sophisticated high-tech and awesome claw-bearing behemoths.
