Edwin Kerren Lainhart, born Nov. 28, 1945, passed away at sunrise in his home on Corry Street in Yellow Springs on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Maria; his mother, Clara; brothers David and Keith; sister Roz; daughters Kim, Monica and Tara; step-sons Charles, John and Peter; step-daughter Mary Claire; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

An active member of the Yellow Springs community since 2002, Edwin will be remembered for his gentle, loving spirit, deep connection to nature and passionate commitment to truth and justice. There will be a celebration of Edwin’s life for family and friends on Saturday, Nov. 12, at Casa de Paz, 1315 Corry St. in Yellow Springs, 2–4 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made in Edwin’s name to Community Mercy Hospice, 100 W. McCreight Ave., Suite 400, Springfield, OH 45504.
