James ‘Pewee’ Harding

James “Pewee” Harding passed away Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, while surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Jones) Harding; siblings Karen Carr (Kenny), Sharon Robertson (Doug) and Gary Harding (Angie); sister-in-law Lori Harding; mother Frances “Sis” Harding; children Robert Harding (Krista), Carmen Upton (Jerry) and Tammy Harding; his grandchildren, Micah Harding (Emily), Jeremy Upton, Kaleigh Upton, Dane Harding (Desiree Green) and Mike Harding; great-grandchildren Malorie, Raelyn, Will and Celia; and many special nieces and nephews, especially Marcus Harding. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard “Scud” Harding, and siblings Marla Harding and Markie Harding.

Pewee was born May 15, 1945, and was raised in Cedarville, Ohio. He worked for many years as a custodian for Cedarville Schools. He enjoyed being in the great outdoors and hanging out with fun-loving family and friends. His candid responses and clever, quick wit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Please help celebrate his life on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 1 p.m. at the Clifton Reserve located on South River Road.
