Artist Bing Davis to speak at 365 Project annual meeting

The 365 Project is proud to announce that nationally-renowned artist Bing Davis will be the guest speaker at the organization’s annual meeting. His topic will be “Art as an Agent of Change.” The meeting will be held Monday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m., at Antioch University Midwest.
Willis “Bing” Davis is a Dayton artist who has taught in Dayton Public Schools and at DePauw University in Indiana and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He was also the chair of the Art Department and the director of the Paul Robeson Cultural and Performing Arts Center at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. As an artist, Davis has worked in mixed media and found art, and has curated and exhibited extensively, both nationally and internationally. The City of Dayton featured Davis in its “Dayton Originals” series of videos in 2012. The video may be viewed below.
