Christmas Eve services (+ bonus poem)

Candles, greens, the flash of brass and silver. Fellowship, quiet, the inner mystery that is also the infinite outer one. Christmas Eve — the dark of night and the light of words and song. 

There are several Christmas Eve services happening in the village:

5:30 p.m. Family Christmas Eve service, First Presbyterian Church
6 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass, St. Paul Catholic Church
7 p.m. Candlelight Christmas Eve service, YS United Methodist Church
7 p.m. Christmas Eve program, YS Friends Meeting at Rockford Chapel
11 p.m. Candlelight Christmas Eve service, First Presbyterian Church

10:30 a.m. Christmas morning worship, YS United Methodist Church
