Frances Mae (Igo) Leach

Frances Mae (Igo) Leach, of Fairborn, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017. She was 87.
Frances leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, whom she married on Valentine’s Day 30 years ago, Thomas Leach; and her daughters and sons-in-law Wanda (née Igo) and Donny Cooper, Janette and David Schmeling and Teresa and Brian Tribut. Also surviving are her sister Vivian Chambliss; grandsons Jason (Jenny) Cooper, Jonathan Powell, Matthew Powell, Jeremy Tribut and Jacob Tribut; granddaughter Erin Tribut; great-grandchildren Anastasia Cooper, Payton Cooper, Cody Toadvine, Aidan Powell and Maximus Powell; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and her beloved cat, Max.
Frances was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd Igo, in 1979; her parents Bill and Grace (nee Sidenstick) Anderson; brothers William F. Anderson and Frank Anderson; sister Lillian Uptagrafft; two nephews, Jim Chambliss and John Uptagrafft; and one niece, Sharon Montgomery.
Frances was a supervisor at the Yellow Springs Instrument Company, retiring in 1992, was a faithful member of the Enon Church of Christ and was a member of the Fairborn Moose and Eagles. Her family received friends at the Burcham-Jennings Funeral Home on Saturday, Feb. 18, followed by a celebration of Frances’ life, with Pastor Jon Lanier presiding. Burial followed in Byron Cemetery.
