Nancy E. Dihrkop, 88, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. She was born June 17, 1928, in Grassy Creek, Ky., to Everett and Ina (Ferguson) Gibbs. 

Nancy is survived by her husband of 69 years, Raymond L. Dihrkop; four children, William Dihrkop, Karl Dihrkop (Shauna), David Dihrkop (Rebecca) and Joe Dihrkop (Christina); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Yvonne Metcalf (Lane), Juanita Cruea and Jean Owens (Corky).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Ina Gibbs; four brothers, Harold, Jay, Franklin and Revis Gibbs; three sisters, Pauline (Gibbs) Hughes, Christine (Gibbs) Cantrell and Avanell (Gibbs) Waits; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation and funeral services were held Tuesday and Wednesday, April 18 and 19, at Powers-Kell Funeral Home in Jamestown, with Jeff Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Silvercreek II Cemetery in Jamestown.
