Lavina Ann Paul

Lavina Ann Paul, age 83, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017. She was born Nov. 12, 1933 in Adams County, Ohio, the daughter of Homer and Essie (Riley) White.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnnie Ray “Peck” Paul, in 2009; brothers Homer White, Jr., Ernest White and Richard White; and sisters Ruth Campbell and Rose Lingo.
She is survived by her three daughters, Connie Martin, of Jamestown, Barb (Jeffery) Oliver, of Xenia, and Adrienne (Daniel) Shope, of Jeffersonville; six grandsons, Kelly (Melissa) Martin, Bryan (Tiffany) Martin, Dale Martin, Kevin (Sarah) Oliver, Matthew (Lindsey) Oliver and Justin (Faith) Shope; numerous great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Chris) White, of Michigan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Sammi.
Ann had retired from YSI after over 30 years of employment. She graduated from Bryan High School in Yellow Springs, where she had been a cheerleader. She was a very talented China painter, and thoroughly enjoyed holiday bazaars, auctions and antiques.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, at McColaugh Funeral Home, located at 826 N. Detroit St. in Xenia, with Chaplain Steve Wetterhan officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Forest Cemetery, Yellow Springs. Friends may call from noon on Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.
