William Dihrkop

William M. Dihrkop, of Jamestown, Ohio, passed away at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton on Thursday March 22, 2018. He was 69.

Bill was born Sept. 13, 1948, in Dayton, to Raymond and Nancy (Gibbs) Dihrkop. He was a retired Dayton police officer.

Bill is survived by his father, Raymond Dihrkop; one daughter, Amanda Hamilton (Les); two grandchildren: Justin Hamilton (Corina), Zack Hamilton; one great-grandchild, Evie; three brothers: Karl Dihrkop (Shauna), David Dihrkop (Becky), Joe Dihrkop (Tina); one step-son, Allen Long (Heather), two step-grandchildren, Todd and Ryan and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra and his mother, Nancy Dihrkop.

A memorial service will be held on Friday March 30, at 1:30 p.m. at Powers-Kell Funeral Home in Jamestown, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Silvercreek II Cemetery in Jamestown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jamestown Family Cancer Care, P.O. Box 35, Jamestown, Ohio 45335 or Hospice of Dayton.
