Villager Sam Bachtell passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, surrounded by loved ones. A celebration of Sam’s life will be held at a later date. A complete obituary will appear in a future issue of the News.

I am very sorry to see the news about Sam. I will always remember his liveliness, humor, and generosity. I’m sure the family will miss him dearly.
