David Bernard Lemming

David Bernard Lemming, of Yellow Springs, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018. He was 67.
Dave was a graduate of Wright State University and retired senior engineer from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Dave was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Lemming; parents, John J. and Rose E. Lemming; sister, Rose Marie Stupakiewicz; brothers, Paul, Donald and Ralph; and stepdaughter, Davida Willis. He is survived by stepson, Derek Willis (Denyelle), and grandchildren, Kane Willis, Kayleb Willis, Brielle Willis and Bella Willis, of Yellow Springs; stepdaughter Deidra Willis (Tony Shular) and grandson Anthony Shular, of Yellow Springs; sisters Marilyn (Tom) Lane, of Georgetown, Texas, and Virgilia Lemming, of Beavercreek; and brother John (Sandy) Lemming, of Kettering.
Dave was an active mentor in the Alcoholics Anonymous program. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, June 15, at First Presbyterian Church of Yellow Springs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with an opportunity for anyone who wishes to share memories about Dave from 6:30 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous or the American Cancer Society.
