Marybeth Hobson, of Hamilton, Ohio, played the recorder while Nancy Treselic, of Liberty Township, spun wool into skeins. The two, both members of the Society of Creative Anachronisms, were right at home at the 23rd Annual Wool Gathering at Young’s Dairy last weekend. Present also were plenty of sheep, alpacas, cashmere goats and other wool-bearing animals, some of which assisted in shearing demonstrations. The two-day event brought in over 100 vendors and participants from the region and surrounding states.
