Raymond Dihrkop

Raymond L. Dihrkop, of Jamestown, Ohio, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at Legacy Village in Xenia. He was 98.

Raymond was born April 14, 1920, in Eaton, Ohio, to Karl and Maude Lutz Dihrkop. He served in the United States Army and retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

He is survived by his three sons, Karl Dihrkop (Shauna), David Dihrkop (Rebecca) and Joe Dihrkop (Tina); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Gibbs Dihrkop; son, William “Bill” Dihrkop; parents, Karl and Maude Dihrkop; brother, Stanley Dihrkop; and sisters, Mageurite McDowell and Ruth Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at Powers-Kell Funeral Home in Jamestown, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Silvercreek II Cemetery in Jamestown.
