The spring Street Fair will return to the village on Saturday, June 8, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with the Music and Beer Fest from noon to 7 p.m.
The food tent at Soin Stage will be open on the lawn of Jackson-Lytle-Lewis Life Celebration Center, opening at 9 a.m. with free yoga on the lawn hosted by the Wellness Center. The tent will feature acoustic acts until 5 p.m., as well as performances from local belly dancing troupe Egyptian Breeze.
The Music and Beer Fest at the Bryan Center will feature beer from MillerCoors and YS Brewery. Patrons can support waste reduction and save on every beer by purchasing a reusable stainless steel cup. The line-up of musical acts will include local favorites Ohio Brass & Electric and The Devil’s Backbone; a full schedule of performances for both the Soin Stage and the Music and Beer Fest is available at http://www.yellowspringsohio.org/street-fair.
A shuttle service will run from Young’s Dairy and YS High School from 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Alternate routes are available at www. yellowspringsohio.org; bike riders are invited to use the free bike valet, provided by Bike Miami Valley, at the corner of Dayton St. and U.S. 68, adjacent to the beer garden.
Street Fair is free and open to the public. Handicapped parking is available at the Municipal Lot on Corry Street. For the safety and comfort of all, Street Fair is a pet-free festival by ordinance, and those who bring pets to Street Fair will be asked to leave.
