With most pandemic restrictions now lifted and summer in full swing, downtown Yellow Springs has been packed with visitors on recent weekends. But the influx of tourists has brought a problem: new street vendors and buskers setting up shop and clogging sidewalks.

A memorial Irish wake to celebrate the life of Dan Carrigan will take place on Saturday, July 10, at 1 p.m.

A public celebration of life memorial service will be held for Susan Johnson on Saturday, June 19, beginning at 10 a.m. at United Methodist Church.

Frances L. Lewis, of Yellow Springs, Ohio passed away on Monday June 14, 2021, at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was 91.

D’Vita L. (Peterson) Franklin, of Xenia, passed away peacefully Friday June 4, 2021, in the care of Hospice of Dayton. She was 68.
