Florence Mae Dihrkop

Florence Mae Dihrkop, 93, died peacefully on July 23, 2021 after a period of declining health. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, and her sister, Jean Sprigg.
A life-long resident of Yellow Springs, Florence was the daughter of Orpha (Harness) Hering and Floyd Jenkins and graduated from Bryan High School in 1947. She is survived by three daughters: Kathy (Lonnie) Curtsinger, of Ocala, Fla.; Pam (Tim) McLinden, of Yellow Springs; and Linda (Tom) Riemenschneider, of Worthington, Ohio. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Kelly McLinden (Rick), Kimberly (Shane) Bisson, Kirsten (Chadd) Friedman, Chris Curtsinger, Tricia McLinden (Ryan), Katie Riemenschneider (Kyle) and Tommy Riemenschneider, as well as seven great-grandchildren.
Her family meant everything to Florence, and she will be missed by all.
A celebration of Florence’s life will be held on Saturday, July 31, at Jackson, Lytle, and Lewis Funeral Home in Yellow Springs, with visitation from 11 a.m. to noon and a funeral service to follow.
