The Yellow Springs Sea Dogs competed against Forest Ridge at the championships at Greene Valley Pool on Thursday, July 22. Sea Dog swimmers Stephen Dunn, foreground, and Luke Guisleman, farthest lane, competed here in the boys 50-meter breast stroke. According to Nan Meekin, the Sea Dogs team is small this year, with 65 swimmers, but at every meet 50% or more are achieving their personal bests. The Sea Dogs summer swim team is part of the Miami Valley Swimming Association League. The team had seven regular swim meets throughout June and July and Championship meets which were held last week.
