Gary Landers

Gary Landers, of Lebanon, Pa., passed away peacefully at home with his children by his side on Aug. 20, 2021. He was 74.

Gary was born in Yellow Springs on Dec. 24, 1947. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; his parents, Albert and Gloria Landers; and a granddaughter, Emily Miller. He is survived by his sons, Taylor and Andrew; his daughters Andrea and Jennifer; and a beloved grandson, Wyatt.

He attended Antioch University and retired from the United States Army. Those who knew him best know he was always ready with a joke and a smile. He was a fanatical gardener and was known for his expertise and his willingness to help everyone learn to grow their own food. He was a faithful, honest and always generous man who loved his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by us all.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no formal celebration of his life at this time. However, his children celebrate their good fortune of having him as a father every day forever.
