Leonard Roberts

Leonard “Len” M. Roberts Jr., 74, of Summerville, S.C., husband of the late Dorothy J. Roberts, passed away on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, at his residence.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church in Summerville. Entombment will be at a later date at Dorchester Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summerville Orchestra, 118 W Richardson Ave., Summerville, SC 29483.
Len was born on Oct. 5, 1947, in Lackey, Ky., son of the late Leonard M. Roberts Sr. and Nellie Terry Roberts. He graduated from Ohio State University and went on to receive his master’s from Ashland University in Ohio. He enjoyed playing the guitar.
Survivors include son, Kevin Roberts (Charnett), of Jackson, Tenn.; and sisters Clementene Tackett (Danny), of Melvin, Ky., and Rita Donaldson (John), of Columbus Grove, Ohio.
