Village Artisans will present the 41st annual Art on the Lawn Saturday, Aug. 9, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., at the corner of Livermore and East North College streets. The event will be held rain or shine.
The event will feature more than 75 artists from Ohio and beyond, with both new and returning artists presenting ceramics, drawings, fiber art, garden art, glass, jewelry, leatherwork, mixed media, paper craft, paintings, photography and more. Food vendors and live music will round out the day’s offerings.
This year’s featured artist is Urbana-based Suzi Hyden, who won Best of Show at the 2024 Art on the Lawn. Primarily working in cyanotype, also known as “sun printing” or “blue printing,” Hyden explained in a press release that her art “celebrates the environment by combining elements from nature and repurposed materials,” including native wildflowers and other objects found in nature.
Pets are not allowed at Art on the Lawn. Admission to the event is free.
