Four-way stop coming Oct. 1
- Published: October 9, 2025
As the News reported last month, the intersection of U.S. 68 and East Hyde Road is set to become a four-way stop.
The Ohio Department of Transportation, which is overseeing the change to the intersection, alerted the News this week that the conversion will take effect Wednesday, Oct. 1.
Warning signs will be in place over the next few weeks to alert motorists of the impending change. On the morning of Oct. 1, all signs and pavement markings will be installed for the conversion, and the intersection will immediately begin operating as a four-way stop.
