Traffic safety around district campuses, new school start times and a student proposal to revise the high school’s exam exemption policy were among the topics discussed at the school board’s regular meeting Wednesday, March 11.

Michael Charles Reed, 74, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, at Hospice of Dayton. He will be deeply missed and quietly remembered in all the ways that mattered most.

Luisa Lang Owen, Ph.D. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, in hospital. She was an accomplished artist, writer, poet, philosopher, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was brilliantly funny.
