The Yellow Springs Soccer Inc. hosted third annual British Soccer Challenger Sports Soccer camp was a terrific success, according to organizer Lauren Miller. Sixty-one kids, mostly from the Yellow Springs area, improved their soccer skills by learning a variety of new techniques, enhancing those already known and having plenty of fun while doing it. Five coaches from Great Britain led the week-long camp held at Yellow Springs High School. Mild summer temperatures without rain cooperated to set the stage for perfect conditions. The kids, ages 6 to 17, maintained their enthusiasm, energy and good sportsmanship throughout the entire week. The weather and the kids couldn’t have been better, Miller said.
