Jennifer Lynn Freckman died Tuesday, Dec. 22, in her Yellow Springs home. She was 48.
Jennifer was a loving mother, aunt and sister to a large extended family. She was passionate about horses and was an excellent horsewoman. She loved gardening, drawing and caring for hurt animals and people. As a small child she was constantly bringing hurt animals home, and as an adult she brought people home who needed love and care. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her daughter Katrinka Elizabeth Freckman and her mother, Eva Jay Byrkett. She is survived by one son, Jason Paul Wolfe, sisters Jamie Holster, Julie Gulasa and Lisa Biondi, brothers Mike, Jeff, Tony, Chris and Scott Wolfe, and by her father, Charles F. Wolfe and stepmother Louise Wolfe.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 9 at Glen Haven Memorial Park in New Carlisle, 10–11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made online to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at ASPCA.org.
