Borchers ran for Penn State last weekend in Columbus

Yellow Springs High School graduate Samuel Borchers competed close to home last weekend in the Jesse Owens Track and Field Classic at Ohio State University. Running for the Penn State Nittany Lions, Borchers placed 10th in the 800-meter event with a time of 1:52.36. He also competed in the 1500-meter event, placing 23rd.
Borchers is a senior at Penn State.
