Local artists open their studios to visitors

The artists of Yellow Springs will open eight of their studios once again this weekend for the 11th Yellow Springs Artist Studio Tour and Sale. With each studio featuring the host artist as well as at least three guest artists, altogether 27 artists will represent a variety of media, including ceramics, fiber arts, mixed media, printmaking, collage, sculpture, jewelry, glass, watercolors, pastels and encaustics, much of which has not been shown before in Yellow Springs. The tour takes place on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 15 and 15, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Glossy maps of the studios are available for download at http://www.ysarts.org and at the Chamber of Commerce and other art venues in the village.
Pastel by Paula Womacks, who will show her works at Lisa Goldberg's studio on Meredith Road.
Kevin Tunstall's etching on ceramics work will also appear at Goldberg's studio.
