
Local artist and printmaker Sarah Strong is offering holiday-themed workshops at her Strong Heart Press & Studio, 143 1/2 E. Limestone Street. Workshop participants will create pocket journals on Friday, Dec. 9, and ornaments on Saturday, Dec. 10, both at 9:30 a.m. to noon. For information, contact Strong at 317-525-1785. Strong Heart Press offers holiday workshop

Strong Heart Press & Studio, operated by local artist and printmaker Sarah Strong, will offer two holiday-themed workshops today and tomorrow, Dec. 9 and Dec. 10. Both events take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the studio at 143 1/2 E. Limestone Street in the village.
On Friday workshop participants will create pocket journals and tomorrow, Saturday, they will create holiday ornaments. For information or to register, contact Strong at 317-525-1785.
Strong moved to Yellow Springs several years ago from Indianapolis, where she received a degree in printmaking from the Herron School of Art. She has had a lifelong passion for print and paper, and focuses her art on letter press, papermaking and the book arts.
The studio is also open for holiday shopping and offers a variety of fine art gifts. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.on Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 19.
