Open house for Village manager
- Published: February 16, 2012
Mark Cundiff, the Yellow Springs Village manager who will leave his job at the end of this week, will be honored at a reception today, Thursday, February 16, at 4:30 p.m. in Village Council Chambers in the Bryan Center.
Cundiff, who has been the Yellow Springs manager for almost three years, is leaving to become city manager of Sidney, Ohio, where his family previously lived for nine years. He will be replaced by Interim Manager Laura Curliss, a Wilmington attorney who served as assistant to that city’s mayor until recently.
Village Council members have recognized Cundiff for his hard work while in the village, and his having assisted them in tackling and completing a wide range of projects.
While Cundiff will officially be working until Friday, Feb. 24, he will be out of the office next week taking vacation days. His last day at the Village office will be this Friday, Feb. 17.
The public is invited to attend.
