The annual Fourth of July fireworks display, postponed this year due to thunderstorms on the 4th, will take place this Saturday, Aug. 31, at Gaunt Park. As usual, the event is sponsored by the Yellow Springs Lions Club.
The fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. Before that, the Yellow Springs Community Band will play and local Odd Fellows will sell hot dogs and drinks.
The public is invited, and the event is free, although donations are accepted.
