Prepped for winter in skates, sweaters and smoking jackets, YSHS thespians put on the northern town of Almost.

YSHS stage lights up for second weekend of Almost, Maine

The romantic comedy Almost, Maine, the fall production of the Yellow Springs High School Theatre Arts Association and Drama Club, continues this weekend at Mills Lawn auditorium. The play will run Friday–Saturday, Nov. 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m.

The show was written by John Cariani in 2004 as a series of nine vignettes that explore love and loss in a remote, mythical town called Almost, Maine. The play is rated PG and is directed by local resident Cindy Lincoln.

Tickets are available at the box office. Adults are $10; students/seniors are $5. Teachers/staff of Mills Lawn/McKinney Middle/YSHS who submit their names at the box office enter free of charge. Contact Daniele Norman at 767-8529 for any questions.
