Local basketball star commits to Iowa

Ahmad Wagner of Yellow Springs recently committed to play Division I basketball at the University of Iowa. Wagner, who formerly attended Yellow Springs Schools, is a senior at Wayne High School in Huber Heights, where he plays forward on the basketball team.agner,
Wagner, a 6’7” three-star recruit, was sought by other schools in both basketball and football before committing to the Big Ten Hawkeyes with a scholarship offer.
Wagner is the son of Lee Wagner and Teresa (Bondurant) Wagner of Yellow Springs, who both former D1 college athletes.
