TAG! exhibit highlights street art

TAG! Territorial Negotiations, the current art exhibit at the Herndon Gallery on the Antioch College campus, highlights the public art of several local artists, including Pierre Nagley, Travis Tarbox Hotaling and Zane Reichert, along with the street art of several national artists.

The exhibit continues until February 13, with open gallery hours from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Herndon Gallery curator Jennifer Wenker organized the exhibit after becoming aware of a local controversy around the street art in Keith’s Alley, where artists were struggling to understand and define their rights and responsibilities. The exhibit contains a three-panel installation that re-imagines that conflict.

See the Jan. 29 News for a more detailed article on the exhibit.
