Final frame for Would you, Could you gallery
- Published: November 19, 2015
The paintings of local artist Lance Rudegeair will fill the ‘would you, could you” In a Frame gallery beginning this Friday, as the longtime local art gallery puts on a final show before closing the end of the year.
The “Endangered Species: Wildlife Art by Lance Rudegeair” exhibit will open with a reception from 6 to 9 on Friday, Nov. 20, and will continue through December. At that point the gallery will also close, although gallery owner Sherryl Kostic, who also frames art, will continue working for a while to finish up current projects. “Would you could you” has been in the village for 20 years, and at its Corry Street location for the past 10 years.
Kostic is closing the gallery so that she can work on other projects, including returning to her own creative process, she said in a recent interview. The gallery is for sale.
See the Nov. 19 Yellow Springs News for a more detailed story on the gallery and the art exhibit.
