Faith Patterson

Village icon and longtime community activist Faith Patterson, 85, died on Sunday, Jan. 17, after a long hospitalization. She had been hospitalized following a fall late in the autumn. Patterson was a longtime leader of the African American Culture Works, or AACW, civil rights group and organizer of the Yellow Springs Blues and Gospel Fest, among other activities. Her favorite saying was, “Everyone counts.”
An obituary will be in an upcoming newspaper.
