Songwriter and artist Jon Langford will perform at this Saturday night's Antioch School Auction Gala, to take place at 6 p.m. March 4 at the Foundry Theater on the Antioch College campus. Tickets are still available.

Tickets are still available for the annual Antoch School Auction Gala, which takes place this Saturday, March 4, at 6 p.m. at the Foundry Theater at Antioch College.
Tickets are $55 and may be purchased at http://www.antiochschool.org or by calling the school at 767-7642.
Headlining the event is internationally-known songwriter and painter Jon Langford, who is a founding member of the Mekons, one of the longest running and most prolific bands in British punk. He also records and performs as Jon Langford and Skull Orchard, and is a member of the Waco Brothers, the Pine Valley Cosmonauts, Jon Langford’s Men of Gwent and the Three Johns.
The British-born Langford, now of Chicago, is also a respected visual artist whose work is currently on exhibit in the Emporium. An opening reception will take place on Saturday, March 4, from 3 to 6 p.m.
Langford will perform with longtime collaborator and violinist Jean Cook.
The gala is the school’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds going to the scholarship fund.
