Shred personal documents on Earth Day
- Published: April 10, 2017
The YS Chamber will sponsor “Shred It Yellow Springs” on Saturday, April 22, in conjunction with the Glen Helen Earth Day Celebration, to help villagers protect against identity theft by safely disposing of paperwork. Participants can bring personal documents, minus binder clips and other heavy metal pieces, to the parking lot at Limestone and Corry streets on April 22 between 9 a.m. and noon, and Shred-It will do the rest. Documents should be brought in paper or plastic bags and not cardboard. No items other than paper will be accepted for recycling; information on where to dispose of other materials will be available. For more information, call the Chamber at 767-2686.
