40,000 feet in the street

Fall Street Fair drew an estimated 20,000 to 25,000 people last Saturday for Yellow Springs’ semi-annual extravaganza of fair food, funky booths, homegrown music, locally brewed beer and best-in-Ohio people-watching. The crowd was unusually “chill,” according to organizers, perhaps reflecting the beer garden’s surging popularity. Nearly 200 vendors took part, and a variety of local nonprofits raised funds through their participation in the fair. Photos by Aaron Zaremsky.
