BLOG—Tacos, Tacos, Tacos!

Clear throat. Affects ‘90s-era monster truck rally commercial voice:

Tacos, tacos, tacos!

On Thursday, November 16, 6-9pm, First Presbyterian Church and the Beloved Community Project will be holding our final liturgia for 2017. This time, we’re throwing a huge party.

We’ve got original art by Rusty Ace. We’ve got Ryan Stinson and the BCP All-Star Band.

And we’ve got MIGUEL’S TACOS!

We’re gathering together to make memories, to share tables, to enjoy music and friendship before the chaos of the holidays begin. We’ll catch up a bit since our last meeting, and we’ll talk about the ways in which the community, FPC, and the BCP can work together to make Westminster Hall a more comfortable and adaptable space for community use.

All are welcome. This is a kid-friendly event. There is a $10 suggested donation for food, but that is a sliding scale and all who come will eat.

If you are a musician and would like to join in the jam session, check in at belovedys.wordpress.com for a rehearsal place and time.

Forget the kitchen on November 16. Come on out to FPC. Eat. Sing. Talk. Laugh. Live. Love.

And maybe take one last survey so I can wrap up my dissertation and focus full-time on the work of community.
