Megan Rion (North)
- Published: April 26, 2018
Megan Rion (North), 1973–2018, had a passionate curiosity to explore the beauty of the world and a natural ability to nurture and care for any plant or animal that crossed her path. She moved through this world as a thoughtful, creative soul. She fell in love with her husband, Jon Paul over a bed of lavender. They went on to create the farm, which was her sanctuary.
She had a deep commitment to her family and was a loving mother to Isabella, Ellary and Sage. She was a fiercely loyal friend to her sisters Emily and Jana and devoted daughter to her parents, Paul and Debbie. Anyone who knew Megan will never forget her candor, sense of humor, and spirit.
The family will receive guests from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, located at 33 W. Dixon Ave. in Dayton. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Tecumseh Land Trust in Megan’s name to preserve agricultural land, natural areas, water resources and historic sites. Go to tecumsehlandtrust.org or send directly to P.O. Box 417 Yellow Springs, OH 45387.
