Mahmoud Saber

Dr. Mahmoud Said Saber, of Yellow Springs, passed away Jan. 24, 2021, at the Preserve at Beavercreek Memory Care Home. He was 82.
Dr. Saber was born on Jan. 1, 1939, in Cairo, Egypt, the son of the late Said and Fathia (El Melehy) Saber. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Peggy (Lenahan) Saber; sons, Hatem (Sarah) Saber, Omar (Yasmin) Saber and Sammy (Dorothee) Saber; grandchildren, Nada, Yousef, Salma, Youssef, Amandine and Felix; brother, Mohsen; and sisters, Mona and Maha.
Dr. Saber practiced anesthesia in Terre Haute, Ind., and dedicated his life to medicine. He loved relaxing by the ocean, playing tennis and listening to Arabic music.
Burial was held on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at Glen Forest Cemetery in Yellow Springs. Condolences may be expressed to his family by visiting http://www.jacksonlytle.com.
