Nancy lived most of her life in Ohio, but carried a special place in her heart for the beautiful state of Kentucky, where she spent much of her childhood. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Anthony Lewis; father, Leonard Murle Williams; and grandparents, Rosa and Orville Thomas.
Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving son, Duane Anthony “Tony” (Beverly Wilson) Lewis II; grandchildren, Duane Anthony Lewis III, Jalen Micah Lewis and Trennan Kai Lewis; sister, Regina (George) Baum; mother, Rose Williams; and canine companion, Kali. Nancy is also survived by numerous aunts, cousins and friends she made along the way. A special thank you goes to Becky Hamilton and Noreen Forman for always being by her side.
She will be remembered for her kindness to her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Nancy’s son and grandsons were the loves of her life. She enjoyed nature and art with her oldest grandson, “Little” Tony, and lived to watch Jalen and Trennan play sports. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them.
