    On Monday, Sept. 15, Village Council gave a first reading to an ordinance that, if passed at a future meeting following a second reading and public hearing, would accept annexation terms from Miami Township of a 28.3-acre property.

    At the Monday, April 21 regular Village Council meeting, the group approved a resolution to authorize Village Manager Johnnie Burns to execute an agreement with Miami Township to begin the work of one day annexing a 28-acre parcel of farmland into Village limits.

    At the group’s Tuesday, Sept. 10 meeting, Planning Commission members approved: a phase two final plat application from DDC Management, a conditional use application from Ruetschle Architects on behalf of the Village School District and a zoning map amendment to rezone 3.612 acres of school district-owned land.
