Yellow Springs police respond to body found in Glen Helen

According to the Yellow Springs Police Chief Brian Carlson, at 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, the YSPD received a call that there was an unresponsive person in the Glen Helen Nature Preserve.
Local police and the Miami Township Fire-Rescue squad responded to the scene, located in the North Glen, and were not able to resuscitate the individual. He was later declared deceased.
There was no indication of suspicious activity or foul play, according to Carlson.
The Greene County Coroner, who also responded to the scene, will be conducting an autopsy, Carlson confirmed.
