Friday deadline for YSKP fundraiser

Friday, Feb. 1 is the deadline to make reservations for the upcoming YS Kids Playhouse Mardi Gras fundraiser, which will take place Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Glen Helen Auditorium in the Vernet Ecological Center. Seating is limited.
The Mardi Gras-themed event will feature performances by Byron Crews, Jill Becker, Jenny Gilchrist, Sharon Perry and Walter Rhodes, zydeco music with Mark Laurens and dancing with DJ Clean Gene. Cajun food such as crawfish, oysters and gumbo will be served.
Tickets are $65 each, or two for $115. Student tickets are $35. To make a reservation, call 767-1910.
