Villagers asked to conserve water
- Published: January 3, 2013
A water line break near Gaunt Park this afternoon has led to the Village crew needing to drain one of the Village water towers, Village Manager Laura Curliss said at 4:30 p.m. today, Jan. 3. Until the repair is made, villagers are being asked to conserve water. A Code Red call is going out to Yellow Springers at this time asking for their help with water use. A boil advisory is not necessary at this time, but if it becomes necessary, villagers will be alerted with a Code Red call.
The repairs are going well and the crew expects that the repair will be completed later today, according to Curliss.
