Brown runs well at regionals

Sophomore runner Levi Brown represented Yellow Springs High School well at the OHSAA Regional Meet at Troy High School on Saturday.

Brown, the only YSHS runner to qualify for regionals, ran the 5K in 19:05, good for 95th place out of 132 area runners. The top 16 move on to states.

The previous week at districts, Brown ran his best time of the year, 17:56, to finish 13th out of 64 runners and qualify for regionals.

The McKinney School seventh-grade girls volleyball team won the Metro Buckeye Conference title and the conference tournament this year, finishing 7–2 and going 2–0 in the tournament to bring home the MBC trophy.
