The annual Ten Minute Play Festival, sponsored by the Yellow Springs Theater Company, or YSTC, will be held Friday and Saturday, Jan. 27 and 28, at First Presbyterian Church. The festival will include short plays by a number of local playwrights, directed and performed largely by locals as well. The plays include comedy, drama and experimental works. Pictured are actors Ellen Ballerene, Lucas Mulhall, Ali Thomas, Dinah Anderson, Lorrie Sparrow-Knapp and Lucas Samson, rehearsing a piece about a group of cartographers. The Ten Minute Play Festival begins at 8 p.m. each night. Admission is $10, and proceeds will benefit future YSTC productions.
